Sabagay di naman natin sila masisi kung pinanganak silang ganyan, meron naming iba they develop fear dahil sa isang traumatic experience. Ang hirap ano po…ang hirap kayang mabuhay sa takot…When you have a fear of something, you are robbed of the joy that this thing or experience brings whenever andyan siya..Katulad nalang nyang fear of chicken na yan, isipin mo nalang everytime na may makita siyang manok nanginginig na katulad ng chicken joy, KFC, Lechon manok, mc chicken…or yung takot sa paligo, naku di mo maisasama sa beach or sa swimming pool yan… lagi niyang sasabihin Takot ako..parang si matet sa pelikula nuong araw na Takot ako Eh….
Yung iba naman hindi phobia, kundi takot lang talaga gumawa ng bagay bagay…halimbawa ayaw mag negosyo kasi ayaw malugi, yung iba ayaw mag apply ng trabaho kasi baka di daw mataggap…merong ayaw man ligaw kasi ayaw mabasted…meron ayaw mag aral mag maneho kasi baka daw mabangga siya..merong ayaw mag basketball kasi ayaw mabutata or baka di naman daw maka shoot…at napakarami pa…pero lam mo ba that when you stop trying, it ends automatically your chances of succeeding. Kumbaga, wala pa man ayaw mo na..talunan ka na agad…sabi nga ni Michael Jordan, “ I can accept failing, but I can’t accept not trying”…at masakit, marami pong ganyan…they are contented on their mediocre way of life…they just don’t try harder because of FEAR…FEAR of losing.
Sa ating buhay Kristiyano, ganyan din po, there are a lot of chances to serve God but due to Fear, we never try..halimbawa., we are assign to pray pero dahil natatakot ka mag kamali..you let go of the opportunity. Sometimes, we need to share the word of God, pero nahihiya ka – that person na dapat na shareran mo bigla namatay ayun di tuloy nya nalaman ang tungkol sa kaligtasan kasi natakot ka mag share…Minsan naman, na assign ka mag turo sa bible study nyo pero dahil natakot ka naman…yung message mo sana ang solution sa pinag dadaanan ng isang kapatid mo..
Marami pang ibang times that because of fear, opportunity was wasted. Lives was lost, salvation was not shared.
In this life, only those risk takers get the chance of becoming somebody because they didn’t let that fear stop them from their goals in life. Henry Ford got bankrupt 5 times, Bill gates and Steve Jobs where not college degree holders, Douglas Mc Arthur failed twice going to west point. Abraham Lincoln was demoted when he was in the military, Einstein was branded mentally slow when he was in school, but all this people never give up. They didn’t let their fears stop them from reaching their goals and they all succeed. Isipin nyo nalang kung ang Panginoong Jesus natakot mamatay para sa atin, pano na kaya tayo? Kaya sa bible, from Genesis to revelation God often times said, fear not, do not fear, don’t worry, don’t be troubled kasi He wants us to succeed in life..Sabi nga there are 365 times that God said Fear not sa bible..it only means that every day in our life God is reminding..I am here, wag ka matakot..kasama mo ako lagi…at kahit ano man yang kinakatakutan mo..God is bigger than all of it.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
