Healthy Living from the Bible

 Food – napaka importante po ng ating kinakain, kasi ito ang nag determine ano ang magiging kalusugan natin…kung Bible po ang ating titignan, sa Genesis pa lang, nung nasa paraiso pa lang sina Adan, gulay na ang sinabi ni God na kainin natin..I guess our body is really design for vegetable, fruits and herb intake..It was only when they left paradise pumasok na ang pag kain ng karne..bakit? siguro kasi mag kakaroon ng hard work at kailangan na ng energy from eating carbo and protein food. Sa book of Daniel, he requested that they will eat only vegetable and water at ano nangyari? Naging mas malusog sila..
Napansin nyo ba na ang mga meat eaters ay medyo mas war freak kesa veggie eaters? (carnivore at herbivore)..kasi meron ang meat na substance na nakaka high blood..kaya mga kapatid, hinay hinay lang po sa pagkain ng meats..sama ko na din ang fast food at junk foods..wala po tayong makuluhang sustansya dito, sakit meron..cancer pa..oo..kasi ito ang food ng mga cancer cells…If you watch the movie SUPERSIZE ME, meron isang amerikano ng puro food taken from Mc donalds ang kinain nya for a month, at ano nangyari..ayun na high blood siya at nagkasakit....kaya’t kung kaya din lang..lets follow Daniels example..Let’s eat fruits, veggie (mas malakas ang nutrients ng green leafy vegetable) at herbs..iwas cancer pa..
      Drinks – Most drinks na nasa grocery shelves ay high in sugar, especially soft drinks.. ang sweetener na gamit dito  ay mostly low quality sweetener that stimulate cancer cells ..at hindi lang po iyon, some softdrinks ingredients are very harmful sa ating katawan..gaya ng phosphoric acid which is an ingredient for making cleaning solutions at pangtaggal din ng kalawang..akalain mo yun, umiinom tayo ng panlinis ng kalawang at panlinis ng CR..hehehe..it is also said that osteoporosis and bone cancer is linked to much intake of colas..kaya mga kapatid,,…if you want to live a healthy life and be able to serve God ng matagal, iwasan po natin ang pag inom ng mga processed drinks especially softdrinks at muli gayahin natin si Daniel na tubig na lang ang inumin… wag pong alcoholic din (1Cor 6:10)
      AIR – we should breathe fresh air..if we could have plants at home mas mabuti po, it would freshen the air kasi plants emit Oxygen na atin namang hinihinga..I don’t know how credible this is but one author said that one cause of long life sa ating mga ninuno ay dahil abundant daw ang oxygen before the great flood..ika nga wala pang pollution..pansinin mo, nuon more than 900 years ang buhay nila..I guess our body is really design for high intake of Oxygen..nuon kasi 90+% of Air sa atmosphere ay Oxygene..ngaun, 70+% nalang…puro pollution na..
Another thing, if we are expose to high fumes, alikabok, sand storm, usok etc..lets cover our nose…para ma bawasan ang papasok ng maduming hangin sa baga natin..wag nating gawin vacuum ang baga natin na puro madudumi ang hinihinga…Lets protect are lungs..mahirap po magka lung cancer..
       Work\Exercise – Our body is design to work,..sabi ni Lord 6 days you will labor at 1 day ka mag rest..subukan mong baliktarin yun at sigurado manghihina ka..pansinin mo yung mga matagal namasukan or nag trabaho tapos nag retire at nasa bahay nalang at wala ng pinag kaka abalahan..ayun nanghihina na..God design our body to work, kaya kailangan talaga gumagalaw galaw..in work and in exercise..dapat talaga pinapawisan tayo..kasi our body secretes those toxins pag pinawisan na tayo…kailangan din naaarawan tayo..hindi yung lagi nalang tayong nasa kwarto at nag kukulong…lam nyo ba na source of Vitamin D ang pag papa araw? Di ba yung baby pinapa arawan talaga..kasi para mag produce ang body ng Vitamin D…Vitamin D also is the cure for tuberculosis..kaya pag naarawan ka, you have a very slim chance of getting a TB.
      STRESS – Isa pang dapat nating iwasan ay ang Stress..OPO..,,isa sa mga killer sakit ngaun ay stress, kasama na ang anxiety, fear, fatigue at worry..lahat yan magkakasama or mag kaka rank..lam nyo ba na ayaw ni Lord yan..ilang beses nga nya sinabi na DON’T WORRY …e kasi nakaka stress..gusto ni Lord ay WORRY FREE and stress FREE life kaya nga sabi nya “cast your cares to Him for He cares for you”..ganun po tayo kamahal ni Lord..He doesn’t want us to be stress or worried kaya sabi nya ibigay natin ang lahat ng worry sa kanya…He want us to have a joyful life..
      REST – another important factor of healthy living ay mag karuon ng pahinga..GOD commanded us to take a rest..sabi nya 6 days you will labor at 1 day you will rest..ganun po kabuti si Lord..He even commanded us to rest…at ayun po sa pag aaral, people having vacation and proper rest ay mas nagiging productive..yun pong mga Japanese..they will work for 11 months and on the 12th month, they will have a vacation to relax and energize…ganun din po ang gusto ni Lord sa atin. Take rest to be more productive..ayaw ni Lord na burn out tayo…ala po ang Glory ni Lord pag mukha tayong binugbog…kaya kapatid, take rest properly to serve God properly and people will see God’s glory..
God love us so much na even healthy living nasa bible..isa pa po pala ang cleanliness, ilang entry po sa bible deals with kalininsan (Deu 12:12-14, Lev19:28 etc)..sabi nga cleanliness is next to Godliness..sabi pa our God is the God of order kaya I’m sure ayaw ni Lord and magulo at madumi… kaya mga kapatid..let’s  aspire a clean and healthy living para humaba po ang buhay natin to serve God…Amen..
